Hi! I’m Allie Estradford and my story starts with a choice I faced early in my career. When I decided I wanted to become a digital artist, I quickly discovered creative arts often get packaged into a defined career path. Great for a college degree, but choosing one path doesn’t mean your passion for another goes away. That was the case for my love of graphic design and digital illustration.
Fast forward to now, after I got my degree in graphic design and 10 years of experience in the field, I always kept my passion for digital illustrations separate – like a second identity with a separate brand name and audience.
We often have many sides as creatives, but in 2024, I decided to bring both my passions under one company. While distinctly different, both my Designeroo and Woopsieroo brands benefit from my breadth of unique skills. Roo Studios became my journey of merging these two sides of my creativity. I look forward to an opportunity to bring my passion for these arts to your work.
Philosophies I live by
"Contrary to popular belief, designers are not artists. We employ artistic methods to visualize thinking and process, but, unlike artists, we work to solve a client’s problem, not present our own view of the world."
Mike Montiero
"Spend your energy creating the work you want to create. Put in the hours, lose sleep and skip parties to hone your craft and create good work."
